CU Lending is a contract service provider.  We specialize in offering credit union members a full range of mortgage products and services.  Your credit union has partnered with CU Lending to provide you with the very best in mortgage products and rates.   

How Does It Work? 

There are several reasons why we can deliver the very best rate and product the market has to offer directly to you.  First of all, as a licensed mortgage broker we are not required to offer you the rates and products from any singular source.  In fact, we have access to the rates and products of over 100 different lending institutions. 

Because we routinely do business with a preferred subset of these institutions, we consistantly receive preferred rates and outstanding service from them.  Because your credit union is committed to working with us exclusively, we pass on these saving directly to you. 

Additionally, we have the technology and experience necessary to accurately and correctly package your loan application in a way that allows us to shop it to several trusted sources of finance.  This in turn lets these larger financial institutions compete for your business. 

Lender ‘A’ might have the best rate today but it might be that Lender ‘B’ has the best rate tomorrow.  We handle this process on your behalf with the support and guidance of your very own credit union.  Because your credit union is part of your loan process you can be sure that you are getting a fair deal from a trusted resource. 

Bottom Line 

We basically get your new home loan at a discounted rate from the lending institutions because we buy from them in bulk.  We then mark-up this wholesale rate by a margin pre-negotiated on your behalf by your credit union.  This mark-up covers our costs of origination, includes the ancillary services we offer, and is in most cases below the published rates of the bigger banks and lending institutions out there.
